Hi, I’m Madrid.
Founder & CEO of Second Wind. I build software that has to be right — and I bring that same standard to local businesses.
Alongside Second Wind, I work as a full-stack software engineer at a global online gaming company, building regulated, high-throughput transaction and reporting systems. Regulators, operators and players rely on them — “mostly works” isn’t good enough there.
I’ve cut regulatory report generation latency by up to 91×, delivered features end-to-end across four major systems, and built AI developer tooling — RAG agents and Model Context Protocol tools — that turned a 2–3 day task into under ten minutes.
Before software, there was karate. I competed for the Estonian national team at European and World Championships, came back after six years away and won my category at the Nordic Championship. I hold a black belt and coach adults in fitness and self-defence.
Why “Second Wind”? It’s what an endurance athlete finds when they keep going after it starts to hurt. Many local businesses have a website and a pile of old inquiries that ran out of breath. My job is to give them a second wind.
